If I were to say, these next fight's will be out of this world? That would be a huge understatement. On Saturday June 4th in Rayne at the Rayne Civic Center, "Bad" Chad's Boxncar Promotions will host yet another, spectacular night of live professional boxing.
Scheduled to have 7 bouts, coming back after taking some time off, the 2008 U.S. Olympic alternate Quantis Graves. You and I both know Quantis' last 2 fight's here were anything but dynamic. He has since taken time off to evaluate some things and now he claims, he is coming to impress. He will take on very tough, hard working Jamell Williams in a 4 round bout at the Cruiserweight limit. Quantis has been coming to Lafayette every week to train with the Boxncar stable. Quantis looks to impress on June 4th.
Heavyweight sensation from Florida Nathaniel Heaven will also be in a 4 round bout against hard hitting Mike Lane , oh Yeah! We have heavyweights on this card!
In what will have to be one of the better fight's of the night; "Blazin an Amazin" Todd Manuel, member of Red's, whom recently traveled to Las Vegas losing a tough battle against an undefeated fighter; will step back into the ring to fight Travis "Dirty Red" Scott, a Baton Rouge native whom boasts an undefeated record with 7 wins, no losses and 3 ko's, trust me when I say this? This fight will be one for the boxing fans to go home and talk about for years to come!!
1-0-1ko Josh Joseph from Lafayette will take on durable, hardworking Miguel Alfaro in a 4 round bout at the welerweight limit. Alfaro is with a new trainer and I am sure this fight will not disappoint. this may just be the fight of the night! I guarantee in this fight, The fireworks will fly!!
In a 6 round bout Bobby "The Prodigy" Bryant will be taking on Juliano Ramos, YEAH!! Juliano Ramos! The same guy whom Jarred Leblanc tore his tendon fighting. I am anxiously anticipating seeing this fight unfold! I have a signed contract on my desk, Ramos' handlers said! Bryant is a kid, he is trying to step into a mans world, oh yeah we like this fight!!
Bailey "Bang Bang" Bobbitt, Red's member, will also be back in action in a 6 round bout. I am in negotiations with Omid Bahareini, this is the same guy Bailey beat up for 5 and a half rounds in March at the Hilton, before he was caught with a wide left hook, sending Bailey down to the canvass, unable to get back to his feet. With the loss, this has caused something to come alive inside of Bailey, Bailey is working double and triple time! No matter who Bailey has across from him, he is sure to please everyone in attendance!
In the 8 round Main Event, this fight is an ABSOLUTE MUST SEE fight "Rock Hard Mighty" Mason Menard, member and personal trainer at Red's, will do battle with; I mean WAR with Fernando Rodriguez, I guarantee you this will probably be the toughest fight of Mason's career. Listen? Mason Menard fought Reggie Nash last April, Menard ko'd Nash in 3 rounds, Gary Bergeron fought Reggie Nash on July 31st in Rayne, Gary ko'd Nash in 4. Gary Bergeron fought Fernando Rodriguez April 1, 2011 and lost a 6 round unanimous decision, Fernando usually weighs in the 140's, but has agreed to come down to 136. I CAN NOT explain to you the urgency of you being at the Rayne Civic Center on June 4th. This night of fight's, I guarantee; will be by far, the best night of fight's we have ever promoted! Bar none!! Look at this line up and it will be no less then SENSATIONAL! It's a Saturday night, so please come out and support the local boys as they continue to light our state on FIRE!!
