On Friday January 6th at Evangeline Downs, Bad Chads Boxncar Promotions and Evangeline Downs presents: Knockouts and Payouts at the Downs. LSU plays in the National Championship on Monday, what a way to start the weekend off, a sensational night of Live Professional Boxing, at the Downs?
In an 8 round main event U.B.O. World Lightweight Champion "Rock Hard Mighty" Mason Menard will take on Las Vegas native Rynell Griffin, Griffin has been in with the very best fighters at the lightweight division. Slick left handed fighter, Griffin comes with every intention to derail Mason's future prominence. I will go out on a limb here, this may very well be; the absolute toughest fight of Mason's career.
In the co-main event "The Prodigy" Bobby Bryant will look to keep his unbeaten record in tact. He will take on hard hitting Anthony "The Animal" Middlebrooks from Tuscaloosa, Al. I look forward to being at this fight, on this night. They will ALL be so good!
Bailey "Bang Bang" Bobbitt will take on battle tested William Johnson, whom has boxed the likes of Andre Direll, and a whole list of other super stars. I look forward to sitting back and watching Bailey mature as a fighter and a person. Bailey and Mason work so hard EVERYDAY, they never complain, they do the work. Whatever I ask of them, they do it. I am excited to see both Mason and Bailey in their perspective fights.
Josh "Cool J" Joseph will surely have his hands full, as he takes on Alan Moore from Indianapolis, In. I hear this kid Moore comes in like a wild man. this may, just be as good as Josh's last fight in Rayne, back in November, remember that sensational fight?
Cody "The Kid" Richard will bring his 6-0 record into the ring, in a very much anticipated rematch with Dedrick Bell, Cody and Dedrick boxed last April or May, in what many said it was a very, very close fight. Bell has been begging for a re-match ever since, I say hey! Why not do it here, with us? There you go; for your viewing; Cody "The Kid" Richard vs. Dedrick Bell, in a fight I guarantee will not disappoint! Keep your eyes on this fight!
The little brother of Bobby Bryant, Joey Bryant will step into the ring for the first time as a professional. Joey has had way over 100 amateur fights several National Championships etc., and we get to watch this 16 year old kid step into the ring as a professional! Chances are he will fight a mature man, gotta love this, huh?
