Congratulations to all of the athletes that were recognized last night at the Cajun Dome. Peyton Manning was there to present the awards and share his story. Armand Duplantis, from Lafayette High School, was named the Male Athlete of the year. St. Thomas More’s Avery Breaux received the Female Athlete of the Year award. George Femmer, of Teurlings Catholic, was the High Achiever of the Year. Another specialty award went to Lafayette High’s Angelle Primeaux with the Overcoming Injury Award. We are proud to say that all of these athletes are members of Red’s. Congrats to these and all the recognized athletes.
