The Rouge-Orleans is a Ultra-Marathon and Team Relay that started in Baton Rouge and finished in Audubon Park in New Orleans. Participants ran on top of the levee, following the mighty Mississippi for 126.2 miles down to New Orleans. Runners raced through the night in inclement weather to complete the cross country course.
Red's members were represented on three teams for the Rouge-Orleans.
Jamie Scott ran with a three person/co-ed relay and brought home the 1st place victory in that division.
Chas Bourgeois (second from the left), Monica Broussard (center) and Anne Sagrera (second from right) were part of the QSA Running Team that placed 2nd in the six person/co-ed division with a time of 16:58:04; an average pace of 8:04/mile.
