    YOGURT
      From toddlers to older adults,
yogurt is an easy and healthy snack that can be enjoyed by many!  Yogurt has many proven benefits
including being a great source of calcium for strong bones, and is also
believed to protect against gum disease as well as liver and bladder
    cancers.  However, not all forms
are created equal.  If you go down
the dairy isle at your local grocery store, you can’t help but notice the wide
array of choices in the yogurt department.  Here are 3 tips to help you make this healthy snack a little
    healthier:

    1. Skip
out on Flavors:  Go for the
      Plain Non Fat Yogurts.
Flavors such as key lime pie, cheesecake, and even fruit flavors often
contain added sugars, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial ingredients.
    2. Stir-ins:  Add in nuts, fresh fruit, or wheat
      germ for some added benefits.
Nuts will add in healthy fats and protein, fresh fruit for
antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins, and wheat germs for B vitamins and
      vitamin E.
    3. Probiotics:  Choose yogurts that have added
probiotics to help boost immunity and digestion.
